WRC 1013 Freshman Composition I

This course focuses on using the writing process as a way to generate ideas, introduce patterns of organization and development, analyze resources, evaluate ideas, and synthesize multiple sources drawn from a variety of cultural and intellectual contexts. Coursework will include extensive library research and documentation with some attention to oral and visual communication. Students will develop critical awareness of the continuities and discontinuities of human thought, history, and culture to help prepare students to meet the demands of change.
